Known as the 'Little Switzerland of the East', Siguniang Mountain offers three main travel routes: Shuangqiaogou, Changpinggou, and Haizigou, each with its own characteristics, suitable for different types of visitors.

Scenic Area Introduction
  • Shuangqiaogou: Suitable for family tourists and beginners, equipped with sightseeing vehicles for easy exploration. Along the way, you can enjoy views of snow mountains, meadows, and forests, especially the red cedar forest and the Potala Peak, which are popular photo spots.

  • Changpinggou: Suitable for hiking enthusiasts, requires walking or horseback riding throughout the journey, allowing close contact with snow mountains and virgin forests; the scenery is picturesque, but the physical demand is higher.

Transportation

From Chengdu, visitors can choose the following transportation methods:

  • Bus: Departing from Chengdu Xinnanmen Bus Station or Chadunzi Passenger Station, the journey takes about 4-5 hours, with ticket prices between 90-120 yuan. It is recommended to book bus tickets in advance through the 'Tianfu Travel' WeChat Official Account or on platforms like Ctrip.

  • Self-Driving: The distance from Chengdu to Siguniang Mountain is about 220 kilometers, taking around 3-4 hours. In winter, you should pay attention to icy road conditions and it is advised to carry snow chains.

Ticket Purchase

Tickets for Siguniang Mountain and sightseeing vehicles can be purchased online in advance through the Aba Tourism website. The ticket price for Shuangqiaogou is 80 yuan, the sightseeing vehicle ticket is 70 yuan, the ticket for Changpinggou is 70 yuan, and the sightseeing vehicle ticket is 20 yuan. It is recommended to book in advance to avoid queuing on-site.

Itinerary Arrangement
